Quality Spas, Swim Spas & Saunas for the Lake Macquarie Region
Living around the lake means you already understand something most Australians don’t — water is part of daily life here, not a weekend treat. Whether your backyard looks out over Warners Bay, catches the afternoon light in Belmont, or sits quietly in the bushland around Wangi Wangi, a spa or swim spa fits naturally into the way people live in this part of the Hunter.
That’s where we come in.
Just Spas Newcastle has been supplying and installing quality spas, swim spas, urban pools, saunas and ice baths to Lake Macquarie homes for years. Our Gateshead showroom sits right on the edge of the lake region, which means we’re never far from our customers — and we’re often the closest genuine spa specialist to suburbs like Charlestown, Valentine, Speers Point and Toronto.
Why Lake Macquarie Homes Suit Spas So Well
The lake region has a climate that rewards outdoor living almost year-round. Summers are warm, winters are mild by Australian standards, and evenings tend to be the best part of the day. A well-placed spa gives you a reason to actually use the backyard after dark, not just in peak summer.
Property sizes around the lake are generous compared with inner-city Newcastle. That’s a good thing when you’re choosing a spa. You’ve usually got the space for a proper 6-person portable, or a 4-metre swim spa, or even an 8-metre urban pool if the block allows it. We’ve fitted spas into plenty of Lake Macquarie homes over the years — decked, recessed, tucked under pergolas, or standing freely with a lake view. There’s rarely a block we can’t work with.
What We Supply Across Lake Macquarie
Portable spas — our most popular option for lake-area homes. Sizes range from a compact 2.1m x 1.6m right through to larger 3.5m x 2.3m models that seat up to 10. All Australian-made, all built for local conditions.
Swim spas — ideal if you want the health benefits of swimming without building a full pool. We do 3m, 4m, 5m and 6m models, including dual-zone options where one end is a swim-jet area and the other is a hot spa. Popular with families in Eleebana, Valentine and Rathmines who want a pool and a spa without the footprint of both.
Urban pools — a step up from swim spas. These are proper plunge and lap pools, 4m to 8m, with the insulation and energy efficiency of a spa shell. Great option for homes where a full concrete pool isn’t practical.
Infrared and traditional saunas — popular with the wellness crowd in Warners Bay and Charlestown. Infrared has become the preferred choice for most of our Lake Mac customers, especially people recovering from training or dealing with ongoing muscle stiffness.
Wellness ice baths — growing category. If you’re training, surfing, or just taken up the cold plunge trend, we stock genuine wellness ice baths, not the cheap imports floating around online.
Gazebos, Bali huts, accessories and parts — everything that goes with owning a spa long-term.
Installation That Actually Gets Done Properly
A spa is only as good as the install. We’ve seen plenty of horror stories from people who bought online and ended up with a unit sitting on uneven ground, or wired by someone who didn’t know what they were doing.
We handle delivery, placement, electrical coordination, commissioning and the initial water balance. Most Lake Macquarie deliveries are done by our own team, not outsourced carriers. If your property has access challenges — narrow side paths, elevated decks, tight driveways in suburbs like Wangi or Kilaben Bay — we’ll assess it before delivery day, not on the day.
Servicing the Full Lake Macquarie Area
From Cardiff and Glendale at the northern end, through Charlestown, Belmont, Warners Bay and Valentine along the eastern shore, down to Swansea and Caves Beach, and across to Toronto, Wangi Wangi and Morisset on the western side — we cover it all. Our Gateshead showroom is usually 15 to 40 minutes from most lake homes, depending on traffic and where you are.
If you’re in the area, come down and see the range in person. A photo online gives you the shape of a spa. Sitting in one tells you whether it actually fits your body.
Finance That Makes It Easier
We offer interest-free options through Zip Money and Humm90 for approved applicants. Lots of our customers choose to spread the investment over 24 or 36 months rather than paying upfront — especially when they’re pairing a spa with a pergola or deck build.
Ask us about the current terms when you visit. They change from time to time and we’ll give you the honest version, not a sales pitch.
Real Local Support, Not a Call Centre
When something needs servicing three years down the track, you want to ring someone local who knows the unit. That’s us. We don’t drop customers once the spa leaves the showroom. Parts, accessories, water chemistry advice, troubleshooting — same number, same team.
